Since these days most websites provide a - usually quite distinctive - favicon which is shown on the tab next to the title of the webpage, there is only little need for the title of the page to still contain the site's name. So, away with it! Save some space on the tabbar. But how? That's where the Retitler might help you out.
Retitler changes the title of a website by applying user-settable rules on it.
For a "quick strip" a built-in algorithm may also be used to guess these rules for the currently open tabs. (It finds the similarities in the titles by simply comparing their beginnings and endings)
