Open in Wayback Machine


How many times have you opened a dead link before? Do you know about the Wayback Machine, amazing web service from guys at archive.org which silently spiders the Web and periodically remembers how pages looked like before?

This extension is a shorthand for easy access of features of Wayback Machine.

Disclaimer: author in no way is affiliated with the Internet Archive. This is a personal itch that was scratched here and made public for anyone to use. Icon was drawn manually over the original image from the Internet Archive website and can be changed by first notice to anything else, if deemed inappropriate.

IMPORTANT: by the decision of Russian government, archive.org is banned in Russia, and Internet Service Providers are to block access to there. So, if you're in Russia, this addon will not work for you unless you do something to bypass the blocking.
