Read Hacker News in a radically new interface that combines visual density with a clean design.
After installing the add-on, customize your browser's navigation bar by dragging the add-on's icon on to it. Click on the icon in your browser's navigation bar to get the latest top stories.
Open each submitted story in its own browser tab side-by-side with its comments. The story text is rendered in readability mode.
Open each submitted story on the right-hand side of your screen in readability mode.
View all comments for the story on the right-hand side of your screen with expand / collapse functionality.
See each user's profile in a yellow Post-it style tooltip. Click on the user's latest submissions in the profile to bring up a new tab with the user's past story submissions. Click on the user's comments in the profile to bring up a new tab with the user's past story comments.
The menu at the top of the page also lets you get the newest stories, the top stories over the last 7 days, or the top stories over the last 30 days, Show HN posts, Ask HN posts, Who is hiring? posts, and polls.
Don't miss a hiring opportunity with a listing of all previous Who is hiring? monthly posts.
Browse through the Show HN and Ask HN posts to discover the true interactive nature of Hacker News.
Click on "last 7days" in the top menu to catch up with the top 10 stories of each of the last 7 days.
Click on "last 30 days" in the top menu to catch up with the top 30 stories of the last 30 days.
Browse previous polls and see their voting results visualized as horizontal bar graphs and sorted by the most votes so that the popular choices float to the top.

The interface is completely powered by the Algolia HN Search API.
