EasyCrypt provides simple to use encryption functionality of text inside the web browser. Just select some text in the webpage you are using and choose Decrypt (EasyCrypt) from the popupmenu to decrypt the text. It can also be used without a text selection to freely encrypt/decrypt text.

Encrypted text is put into an easycrypt[[[...]]] string so you can easily spot it on a website you use.

EasyCrypt uses crypto-sha1-hmac-pbkdf2-blockmodes-aes with 32 key stretching rounds. It is not recommended to use this utility until it has undergone a security review, but it is suitable for casual users.
